Mark Davis   I’m a native of Genola, UT,  though I moved to Provo, Utah when I was single and for a few years after we were married. I began cabinetmaking in 1973 to work with my brother as a cabinetmaker.  I took a break from 1974-76 to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus-Christ of Latter-day Saints in Birmingham England.

My work in architectural and cabinet design have taken me many places. After returning from my mission I worked as a partner in Davis Brothers Cabinetmakers as a designer, so we moved back to Genola and we built our home in the there. As our business evolved and matured, I worked with the cabinet dealer as design support. I focused on ensuring their design got them the product they ultimately wanted for their clients.

My wife, Ruth, and I, in 2007 accepted the challenge of working through a recession with a restructured business that was deeply in debt;  At that point, I continued dealer support, designing, overseeing financing, on creating new systems and products, and strategic planning.

In 2011, we purchased our first duplex at the base of BYU. We did remodels, executed leases, managed maintenance and repairs. This gave me first-hand knowledge of the BYU student rental market, including knowledge of which properties are profitable. I looked at investment properties throughout Utah County (Santaquin to Provo and everything in between) and am knowledgeable of duplex family home rentals in the range of $900 to $1400.

I finally decided to put to use my background in homes and my investment knowledge by becoming a real estate agent at Keller Williams. My wife and I are team agents at Keller Williams in Utah. For 2020, we won “Rookie of the Year” for Keller Williams for their Orem office. I am committed to hard work and guarantee service, dependability, and integrity. After years of stagnation, the real estate market is improving across the country, and especially in Utah Valley. Now is a great time to upgrade (or downsize) and a reliable and knowledgeable real estate agent is a must. I look forward to working with you.

In my free time I love spending time with my 8 children, 20 grandchildren and my wife. We love living in Utah (and especially Utah County) and think it is a terrific place to raise a family. I still love woodworking, camping, scouting, gardening and seedsaving.
